Terms and Conditions
Cancellations
Late cancellations and missed appointments exclude others from receiving treatment, and are an inconvenience due to the time and energy spent preparing for your arrival. If you need to cancel your appointment, please contact me as soon as possible to allow me to fill your appointment time. You may cancel via my online booking system (up to 2 hours before), by phone call or text message on 0414 818 836, or via email.
I understand that illness, emergencies and circumstances outside your control do arise, therefore I do not charge a cancellation fee when you have notified me of the cancellation by 9am (ACST) on the day of your appointment. A 50% cancellation fee may be charged at my discretion for cancellations made after this time.
Missed appointments
For missed appointments a 100% cancellation fee may be charged at my discretion. Prepaid sessions (including sessions purchased as part of a package and all online consultations) are non-refundable when unattended at the appointed time without notice. If the appointment was to be paid for by a gift voucher, the gift voucher will be considered to have been used in full. To avoid these charges, please reschedule your appointment under my very generous cancellation policy outlined in the paragraph above.
In the case of repeat cancellations or missed appointments without good reason, I reserve the right to refuse to rebook future appointments.
Late arrivals or shortened sessions
Time for your appointment has been allocated just for you. Late arrival may result in a shortened session time in order for me to honour the time of the clients who are booked directly after you. Full payment for your entire scheduled time will be required.
If you haven’t completed the online client intake form prior to your first appointment, please arrive 5-10 minutes to complete this form and therefore avoid missing out on your full treatment time.
Additionally, as an allocated treatment time has been dedicated to you, if for any reason you wish to finish the treatment early, the full cost of the appointment time slot will still be charged.
Gift Vouchers
Gift vouchers must be used within 3 years of purchase. Gift vouchers will be forfeited if you fail to turn up to your booked appointment without notifying me with sufficient notice (refer to cancellations and missed appointments terms and conditions outlined above).
Gift vouchers are non-refundable. No private health rebates are available for services paid for by gift vouchers.
Packages
Unlike gift vouchers, packages have a shorter window in which the sessions must be used. This is because I am offering my services at a discount and because they are designed to fast track your health goals. Kinesiology Coaching Packages and Bodywork packages must be used within a 3 month period. Any sessions not used within these time frames are forfeited. You may negotiate to use your package session towards another of my services (of equal duration), but no further discounts will be available for a change in the modality used.
Similar to gift vouchers, a package session will be deemed to be used as payment for any appointments that you fail to attend (see missed appointments paragraph above).
Packages are non-refundable. Private health rebates may not be available for services paid for via a pre-purchased package – please check with your own health fund.
Medical advice and provision of medical information
Kinesiology is a complimentary therapy and not a diagnostic tool and does not override any advice provided by your medical doctor. Additionally, you agree to inform me at the start of your appointment (for any of my services) as to any medical conditions that may be relevant to your treatment. I may require you to regularly resubmit your client intake form to ensure your medical history is kept up to date.
